This rod has impressive features that allow it to cast over 200 yards, making it one of the best continental surf rods on the market. The rod has very quick recovery, which means its easier to use and has fewer energy losses making it effortless to cast.

Additionally, this rod has a hollow carbon tip, which offers excellent bite detection. The hollow tip gives this rod a steely feel than most continental rods, sitting suitably in strong tide runs and swells. The progressive action also makes bite detection easier when fishing at range.

The unique high-performance blank is powerful yet slim and rigid, making it perfect for use with leads ranging from 4 to 8oz.

The Sunset Forza Power Surf rod is designed with Fuji K frame alconite anti-tangle guides, which offer smooth casting and reduced tangles. It is also hybrid, making it suitable for both fixed spool and multiplier reels, and has a Fuji DPS reel seat, giving you a secure and comfortable grip on your reel. The soft-touch ergonomic handle also ensures that you have complete control over your rod, which is essential when casting long distances.

This rod also features a painted tip that makes it easier to see when fishing in low light conditions, giving you a broader view of the fishing spot. This feature, combined with a cloth bag for easy transportation, makes the Sunset Skandal Oceano Power Surf rod an ideal choice for any angler looking to improve their surf casting game.

In summary, the Sunset Forza Power Surf 14ft 4-8oz is a top-quality rod that guarantees anglers remarkable power and ease of use. Its innovative design and well-thought-out features make it excellent for a variety of surf fishing methods.
