Frequently Asked Questions

Is this pole compatible with older Garbolino kits?

Yes. The UK1 Accomplice HP is built on the standard UK Series mandrel, meaning it is fully compatible with sections and kits from other UK series poles, as well as many G-Max models.

Does it come ready to fish?

Almost! All the top kits come pre-bushed with high-quality PTFE bushes and feature pre-installed PTFE puller side slots. You simply need to add your chosen elastic and connectors to be bank-ready.

How does the HP version differ from the Pro version?

The HP is the updated flagship. The sections have been subtly modified and the carbon layup refined to improve the balance and recovery speed at 14.5m and 16m, making it feel even lighter in the hand during a long session.

Is it strong enough for big carp?

While it is a refined competition pole, the Accomplice HP is built with reinforced wear areas. When used with the Match Carp Puller kits, it is more than capable of handling double-figure carp in match conditions.
