Parachute Pheasant Tail A versatile mayfly dry fly with lifelike appeal.

The Parachute Pheasant Tail takes the classic pheasant tail profile and adapts it into a high-floating dry fly that imitates a variety of mayflies. Its slim, natural-toned body and parachute hackle create a realistic silhouette, while the upright post ensures visibility and buoyancy even in rough water. Perfect for imitating small to medium-sized mayfly duns, this pattern rides flush in the surface film, fooling selective trout in both rivers and lakes. Durable and reliable, the Parachute Pheasant Tail is a must-have searching and hatch-matching dry fly.
