Where to Use It

• Week-Long Carp Sessions: The primary choice for France trips or long stays on UK syndicates where you need a home base for all your gear.

• Winter Angling: Ideal for carrying the extra bulk of heavy thermal layers, gas heaters, and additional food supplies.

• Organised Boat Storage: While designed for the bank, the waterproof base and high capacity make it a great dry bag for boat anglers who need to store life vests and spare waterproofs.

Gerrys Pro Tip:

To get the absolute most out of this 60L space, we recommend using a modular pouch system. Rather than letting small items rattle around the bottom, use smaller Solar pouches to categorise your gear (e.g., one for leads, one for PVA, one for headlamps). Also, always use the shoulder strap for the long walks, but keep the dual handles velcroed togetherit makes it much easier to slide the bag in and out from under your bedchair!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the bag rigid or soft-sided?

The Solar Worldwide Carryall is a soft-sided bag, which is a huge advantage when youre trying to pack it into a crowded car or squeeze it under a low-profile bedchair. However, the quality of the 600D material means it holds its shape well even when partially empty.

How waterproof is it?

The base is 100% waterproof PVC, so it can sit in a puddle all day. The 600D body fabric is PU-backed and highly water-resistant, meaning it will keep your gear dry during heavy rain, though we always recommend keeping it inside your bivvy for maximum protection.

Can the shoulder strap be removed?

The shoulder strap is adjustable and designed for heavy lifting. While it is fixed for maximum security and load-bearing, it can be tucked away easily if you prefer using the carry handles.

Will it fit under a standard bedchair?

At 32cm high, it is designed to fit under most modern standard and wide-boy bedchairs, allowing you to keep your swim tidy and your gear out of the way.
